since the whole point of this blog of mine is to share creative juices (mine, yours, others i find on the internets), i thought it only fitting to have a little list or field guide (if you will) to some of the projects i’ve done or plan to do (or wish i had time or a reason to do).
some have tutorials written by me, some have tutorials done by others, and some have no tutorial at all! if the tutorial was written by someone else, the image will either link you to my post (which will have a link to the original tute) or directly to the author’s tutorial (if i didn’t actually post about it). if there’s no tutorial, i’ll link to whatever post i mentioned the project in. but if you ask nicely, i might write one up and post a tutorial just for you!
some deal with wood-working, others with sewing, cooking, painting, renovating, etc, and some projects are just because!
DONE:
click the various images to go to my blog posts about the project or to go to the tutorial i used (if i haven’t posted about it). these are in no particular order:

T-Shirt Pom Poms Tutorial (and image) by Craftaholics Anonymous - i have attempted and failed at these
there’s more to come in the “DONE” section as i get around to adding them. check out my “Project Reveals” category to see more!
TO DO and/or COMING SOON:
please note that these pictures below are NOT my own, but i would LOVE for you to click on them to see the original tutorial’s website. i’m sure the tutorial authors would appreciate it to, so check them out in all their glory (and to see other awesome tutorials)!

Faux Chenille Blanket - tutorial by MADE -- i plan to use this tutorial to make "tree log" bolster pillows
Hanging Book Display - tutorial by Penny Carnival -- Hubby wants a short one of these for his magazines in the bathroom

Pine Cone Fire Starters - tutorial by Mrs. Adventure -- can't wait to gift these to our camp-happy friends

Advent Calendar (or countdown to anything calendar) - tutorial by Chica & Jo -- i think this would be a fun way to make birthdays into large celebrations

Dino Spike Crochet Hat - pattern by The Boy Trifecta -- for my relatives with little boys, or maybe for our own little monster!

Custom Fabric Designs using Spoonflower - tutorial at Modern Parents Messy Kids -- how much fun does this project sound?
also, there’s a few of my own on the to-do list (that aren’t based on someone else’s tutorials):
