our friends deserve a special call-out!
real life friends, living the dream:
Amanda is a great friend we’ve been lucky to have since college. she’s fun and fabulous and a great photographer! check out her self-made business: Amanda McMahon Photography
Sarah is a good friend with a fresh new look on GREEN interiors! her fancy-schmancy website for her new business, Set the Scene Interiors, is a great showcase of her top-notch ideas and abilities! she also repurposes used raw materials into art and jewelry at her Etsy Shop: Renew Studios! i’ve seen what she can do in person, and it is truly amazing!
real life friends with real life stories:
Nissa is my own, personal Cloth Diaper Guru! she taught me pretty much everything i know about cloth diapering, and she’s happy to share with the world!
Jane is as creative as they come, from theatre and dance to sewing and engineering; she’s an all around girl and there’s nothing plain about her! here’s her blog: Proud to be a Plane Jane
Lindsey is a kindred spirit: into science fiction of all forms, books on every subject, and aerospace! she’s also got a smart head on her shoulders and posts some tips and tricks that she and her husband use to keep on the right financial track.
Krissy is a new friend with lots of talent and energy! she’s creative, energetic, loves disney, enjoys food (especially cupcakes it seems), and has been doing lots of running lately. she’s got a real talent for all those things and more, check her out!
Jennifer is a high school friend. like we used to sing in girl scouts: make new friends but keep the old!
the guys and gals over at the BengalTalk forums are absolutely wonderful and have been great friends to our family, even though we’ve never met even one of them in person! our two cats, Bentley & Bugatti, are both Bengals. they’re wonderful parts of our family, but they also have their bad days. the BengalTalk community has been there for us on the good days and the bad ones!
cyber mentors with amazing taste and talent:
Sherry and John, though not personal friends, are constant inspiration! And their Young House Love blog is read all over the world!
Ana is the mastermind behind the blog formerly known as Knock-off-Wood. i have a LOT of plans from her website on my “honey-do” list!
lately i’ve really enjoyed reading Katie’s blog: Making This Home. she’s an inspiring young entrepreneur who’s also building her own home (inside an aircraft hangar) and married to a German engineer (like me!).
